Our mission with Free Dog Trainers is to to provide access to education and support from skilled dog professionals to members of the public. So that's what we're doing here!Â
The schedule here will sign you up for a preliminary (remote) consultation to design your training plan and get you started!
My training style is focused on increasing behaviors we like, and finding appropriate replacements for behaviors we don't like. I do not generally recommend the use of corrective tools like pinch collars, e-collars, or similar tools. My goal is not to suppress behavior, my goal is to modify the underlying cause of unwanted behavior.
Leash Reactivity Program - $Free
This program is intended to be completed over approximately 8 weeks. The goals include getting you feeling confident on walks with your dog and helping understand why your dog is doing this. It includes the following:

3 remote consults to troubleshoot problems as they come up
Fear Program $Free
This program is intended to be completed over approximately 3 weeks. The goals include helping manage your dog's fear, changing your dog's mind about whatever they find scary, and exploring coping skills with your dog. It includes the following:

Polite Greetings Program - $Free
This program is intended to be completed over approximately 4 weeks. The goals include identifying and practicing an appropriate greeting for your dog and visitors. It includes the following:

Dog Interactions Program $Free
This program is intended to be completed as a single two hour session. Devan will be joined by an apprentice, and together they will help you navigate the nuances and complexities of dog-dog communication.
Exercise Program - $Free
This program is intended to be completed over approximately 4 weeks. The goals include designing an exercise program that works for you and your dog, including establishing the basic skills associated with those exercises. It includes the following:
