In 2023, Animal Welfare United sponsored free dog training classes in our hometown of Rohnert Park, California. These free classes were held twice a week at 3 simultaneous locations for 6 weeks. (That's 36 classes total!) These classes were led by students at Bergin College of Canine Studies as part of their courses in the Bachelor of Science degree program. These classes were attended by members of the pet-owning public, as well as those fostering dogs for local shelters and rescues.
